Data Engineer on the Analytics Engineering Team. This team is responsible for iterating solutions created in a Cloud Data Lake (AWS) using technologies like dbt for transforming and data quality, Airflow for orchestrating, and an in-house built tool for ingesting and classifying data.

Worked on architecting, developing and maintaining a Cloud Data Lake for Market Disruption (Pik and Tienda Naranja) in AWS. I was also responsible for data governance, data quality and automation.

Worked as a developer on the back-end operations team. This team is responsible for developing the business logic for the APIs. We make sure the system is secure, stable and scalable to accommodate future growth. Specifically operated in the KYC Domain.

Worked as a developer on Oktana’s Marketing Demo Team. This team works in tandem with Salesforce’s Keynote Demo Team. As a developer on the team I helped build demo’s and experiences for Dreamforce, World Tours and other Keynotes in which Salesforce demonstrates the capabilities of their various products.

Worked on implementing company wide DWH solution using Microsoft SSIS, Python, and Microsoft SQL Server to integrate with Microsoft Power BI for visualizations. Used machine learning to create decision making models for business processes. Was also in charge of coordinating the maintenance for ongoing projects such as the company’s core management software, mobile and web applications.
June 2018 - May 2020
GTA for CIS 732 (Machine Learning) and as GRA primarily worked on a project in collaboration with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory which consisted of extracting procedural information in the form of recipes from published scientific literature with application to nano-material synthesis. Secondarily collaborated on an High Performance Computing Analytics project focused on Machine Learning techniques in the domain of resource allocation.
